ICUSI conferences accept papers written in English language and according to the types and formats mentioned below. 

Papers evaluation is performed through a double-blind review so please remove all information about authors and affiliation when submitting your work.

1. Extended papers

USI contribution types:  artifacts or techniques, theory of USI, methodology, empirical studies, surveys.

Format: 6 or 8 pages long (approx. 3700 to 5000 words).

2. Short papers

USI contribution types: artifacts or techniques, empirical studies, argument, applications, and workshop proposals.

Format: 4 pages long, approx. 2600 words.

3. Demonstrations

Format: 2 pages long (1300 words)

Paper format (at submission stage)

All the papers will be edited according to the ACM-CHI format, adapted for A4 paper size, that can be downloaded from the link bellow. All submissions should be written in English.

Camera-ready version

Please use the following templates (minor changes were implemented to ensure consistency between the Word and LaTeX versions) when preparing the camera-ready version:

Submission

Use the same submission ID for the camera-ready version. Upload a .zip archive containing: (1) the PDF version of the non-anonymous article, without page numbers, header, and with balanced columns on the last page, and (2) the source file(s), either Word or Latex.

No changes to the list of authors are permitted in the camera-ready version.
